Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (or dark/milk chocolate)
- 1 ½ cups roasted peanuts (unsalted or lightly salted)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for extra depth of flavor)
- ½ teaspoon flaky sea salt (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare Your Baking Sheet
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick silicone mat.
- Set aside for later.
Step 2: Melt the Chocolate
- Using a double boiler, melt the chocolate chips over low heat, stirring occasionally.
- Alternatively, microwave the chocolate in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
Step 3: Coat the Peanuts
- Remove the chocolate from heat and stir in the roasted peanuts until fully coated.
- Add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
Step 4: Form the Clusters
- Using a small spoon or cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the chocolate-peanut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Keep clusters evenly spaced.
Step 5: Garnish & Set
- If desired, sprinkle flaky sea salt over the top for a delicious sweet-salty contrast.
- Let the clusters sit at room temperature for 30 minutes, or place them in the refrigerator for 15 minutes until firm.
Step 6: Enjoy & Store
- Once set, enjoy immediately or transfer to an airtight container.
- Store at room temperature for up to 2 weeks, in the fridge for 1 month, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
