Description
Garlic parmesan sauce is a creamy, garlicky delight inspired by Buffalo Wild Wings. Ideal as a wing sauce, pasta topping, pizza base, or dipping sauce, this copycat recipe delivers restaurant-style flavor at home in just 15 minutes.
Ingredients
1/4 cup butter
3 cloves garlic, finely minced
1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups chicken broth (or vegetable broth)
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Kosher salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
2. Add the garlic and Italian seasonings. Cook until fragrant for 1 minute.
3. Whisk in the flour to form a paste.
4. Slowly pour in the broth, whisking constantly until smooth and combined.
5. Bring to a low simmer over medium heat for about 2 minutes until thickened.
6. Add the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Whisk and heat until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
7. Season to taste with salt and pepper and adjust as needed.
8. Enjoy over pasta, on top of pizza, or as a dipping sauce.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days. Reheat slowly over low heat while stirring to maintain smooth texture.
This sauce is perfect with wings, pasta, pizza, breadsticks, or even roasted vegetables.
Use fresh garlic and freshly grated Parmesan for best flavor and texture.
