Description
This Incredible Apple Bread is moist, packed with real apples, warm cinnamon, and nutmeg. Perfect for breakfast, dessert, or a cozy afternoon snack.
Ingredients
4 apples, peeled/cored (you choose your desired apple)
1 cup sugar
½ cup vegetable oil
2 eggs
2 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and grease 1 large loaf pan, or 4-5 mini loaf pans.
2. Shred apples using a grater.
3. Place the grated apples and sugar into a mixing bowl and let sit 5 minutes.
4. Add oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the apples and stir.
5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
6. Combine wet and dry ingredients and stir until just incorporated.
7. Pour batter into greased pan(s).
8. Bake 30 minutes for minis or 55 minutes for a large loaf.
9. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then slice and enjoy!
Notes
Use firm apples like Honeycrisp or Granny Smith for best results.
Store in an airtight container at room temp for 3 days, or freeze slices up to 3 months.
