Ingredients

  • 16 ounces fresh cranberries or frozen, thawed
  • 16 ounces crushed pineapple drained well
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 8- ounce block cream cheese softened
  • 16 ounces Cool Whip thawed
  • 3 cups mini marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped pecans or nut of choice

Optional Toppings:

  • Fresh cranberries
  • Additional pecans
  • Extra mini marshmallows
  • Whipped topping
  • Mint leaves or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

  • Step 1: Prepare the Cranberries
  • Add cranberries to a food processor and pulse until chopped. Leave some larger chunks for texture.
  • Step 2: Mix Cranberries and Pineapple
  • Drain the crushed pineapple and blot with a paper towel.
  • In a bowl, combine cranberries, pineapple, and powdered sugar. Mix well.
  • Step 3: Prepare the Creamy Base
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl and beat again to ensure no lumps.
  • Gently fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined.
  • Step 4: Assemble the Fluff
  • Add the cranberry mixture to the cream cheese mixture.
  • Stir in mini marshmallows and chopped pecans.
  • Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  • Step 5: Chill and Serve
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours to allow flavors to meld.
  • Before serving, top with fresh cranberries, pecans, mini marshmallows, or a sprig of rosemary for garnish.

Notes

  • Softening the cream cheese before mixing prevents lumps.
  • Draining the pineapple well ensures the fluff isn’t too watery.
  • Refrigerating overnight enhances the flavor even more.
